Professional Real Estate Inspection Services is a family business locally owned in beautiful Chattanooga, TN. The Herrick Family has been involved in real estate and construction, both residential and commercial, since the 1920’s. We began as real estate developers and continued through succeeding generations. We began working in the Home Inspection business in the early 1980’s when the industry was in its infancy.
We’ve now been involved in the industry long enough to be a successful, multi-generational company. We’ve combined our knowledge of construction practices, real estate development, and home inspections to provide you, our clients with the inspection services you deserve.

Having worked extensively in Residential & Commercial construction for over 45 years, David Herrick is a second-generation Inspector with thousands of inspections behind him. He’s certified by InterNachi, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, and holds multiple specialized certifications.
DONNA HERRICK
Partner, CFO
With a background of just under 25 years in Team Coaching, Donna Herrick now serves as CFO & Director of Marketing for PREIS. She keeps the personal touch in your business transaction from the first call for information through to the scheduling and completion of your inspection. Donna’s goal for the PREIS client, whether Buyer, Seller, or Realtor, is to provide ease of mind during the transaction.
ALEX HERRICK

Alex Herrick grew up working for the family Construction & Inspection businesses. Upon completing his law internship, Alex decided to join the family inspection business as a partner rather than continue in law. He has now worked extensively in Residential & Commercial construction for 16+ years, is certified by InterNachi, and holds multiple specialized certifications.
